Have you noticed the "High response rate to messages" icon that appears under your Facebook page cover photo?
Facebook offers us another performance indicator for our page, based on how quickly we respond to users' messages. If the icon is green, it means that in the last 7 days, 90% of messages have been responded to within an average of 5 minutes.
When the page acquires this icon, it is then visible to all visitors, whereas in the opposite case the statistics are only visible to the administrators.
How important is this icon for my page?
The response rate index of Facebook pages encourages users to send a message to the page and express their interest in your product or service.
Communicating with customers through social media can reduce the cost of customer service via phone or at your physical store. Additionally, after your response, the user can be directly guided to your online store and complete their purchase.
It's unrealistic to respond to 90% of messages within 5 minutes.
It is indeed challenging to respond to messages in such a short time frame. Working with a digital agency makes it easier to have a quick response. In any case, we recommend sending an automated message as soon as possible, and following up with a complete response during business hours. With Facebook's recent update, you now have the ability to set up an automated message.
Note: Only Pages that have allowed others to communicate with the Page contain information about response rates.
